According to China Pesticide Registration Watch, 140 product registrations from 110 companies were approved by the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) in April, 2021, including 40 herbicides, 37 insecticides, 28 fungicides, 23 hygienic insecticides, 5 plant growth regulators (PGR), 3 fungicide/insecticides, 2 acaricide, 1 nemacide, 1 molluscicid.
Among the registered products, pyraclostrobin continues to lead the registration with 8 registered products. Followed by abamectin (7), Flonicamid (7), and metalaxyl-M, fludioxonil, glyphosate, thiamethoxam, clothianidin, acetamiprid, dinotefuran, meperfluthrin (5).
There’s no TC registration in this month. Wynca received 4 registrations, which is the company with the most registrations. India TAGROS received cypermethrin 25%EC registration.
